Dr. G. Shankar is well aware of the importance of education has an instruments of social uplift. As he could not get proper education for himself, he has been encouraging others who for the reasons beyond their control discontinue education.
Trust has been spreading the importance of Education and helping the poor students to get education by extending timely financial assistance to continue their education. In course of of last 8 years, he has helped 15000 students to continue their education. There are many schools and colleges are being ran under the guidelines of the Trust.

‘Health is Wealth’ is a popular saying & the trust is working hard to make it true for all. Many people have been provided monetary help for their medical treatments, many health & medical camps have been conducted.
An agreement has been signed with KMC Manipal & their sister institutions, for providing free medical service for more than 7000 people who have been issued free health cards by the Trust.

Dr. G Shankar’s Social concern known no bounds. His acts of kindness & generosity extend to almost all fields of life. He considers Yakshagana as the foremost cultural variety of the coastal districts. Therefore he keeps encouraging that form arts & its artists. As the artists are normally down from economically & socially backward communities, Trust identifies every year a few artists, honors them & distributes honorary emolument of Rs. 10000 each.
