Varanga is a village in Karkala Taluk in Udupi district,Karnataka, India. The village has a Jain temple which is a famous tourist place. The Kere Basadi located in Varanga has a beautiful Jain Temple located in the middle of the lake. The temple has four idols in four directions facing North, South, East and West. The idols are of 4 Tirthankaras namely Bhagwan Parshvanatha, Bhagwan Neminath, Bhagwan Ananthanath & Bhagavan Shantinath.
