Goddess Durgaparameshwari resides here in “Linga roopa” and this temple is believed to be approximately 800 years old. Behind the sanctum sanctorum there is a stone which is called as elephant, vehicle of God and according to a belief the size of this stone is getting reduced and the size of the “Linga” inside the sanctum sanctorum is increasing year by year.
Nice place to visit with the family. A stone hill behind the temple is very good place to relax in the evenings.
