The Siddivinayaka Temple is a famous temple of Hattiangadi, a small village in Kundapur Taluk of Udupi DIstrict, Karnataka, India. The eighth century old temple is well known piligrimage center for the Hindus. The deity of this temple Lord Ganapathi is situated on the banks of river Varahi. It is the only temple in India where the idol has a jata-hair. The Lord Ganesha idol is carved of a Saaligrama stone and is 2.5 feet high. The specialty of the idol is that the trunk of the idol is bent towards the left.
